Carbon Label California is committed to making carbon labeling a reality. Already, environmentalists, researchers, business leaders, and others are mobilizing.

• In the U.K., a large grocery store chain recently announced that they would work toward putting a carbon label on all the products they sell.

• Researchers at U.C. Berkeley are working with the California Air Resources Board to explore the issues involved in producing a viable carbon label.

• Businesses as varied as Cirque du Soleil, the Anderson Valley Brewery, and Timberland are voluntarily putting labels on their products.

• The Carbon Trust has developed carbon labels for several consumer products that are on store shelves in the U.K. today.

To make carbon labeling a reality in California we need to develop a labeling approach that makes sense for our consumers and businesses, and we need to mobilize public support for the effort. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us at info@CarbonLabelCA.com.
